People don't just like Las Vegas, they love it. Twenty-four hours a day, 365 days a year, it's all here. More than 75% of visitors to Las Vegas have visited before. That's a lot of love!

We've put together a list of "50 Ways to Love Las Vegas," even though that's just the beginning of all there is to love about Sin City.

There's always something to see or do (or eat or drink or play) in Las Vegas. If you dare, use this list of "50 Ways to Love Las Vegas" as a to-do list for your next visit! Tip: Wear comfortable shoes. You've got a lot of ground to cover!

1. See Elvis. Did you miss him the first time around? See him again in Las Vegas, home to scores of impersonators keeping the spirit of the King alive.

2. Try sequins. Release your inner showgirl. See Jubilee! or Showgirls of Magic, then take your own foray into the world of boas, lace, and sequins, at one of the city's adult-oriented clothing stores.

3. Get twisted. Watch twisted magicians Penn & Teller try to kill each other every night onstage at Rio.

4. Hold on. And scream your head off. Take your life into your own hands on the roller coasters at New York-New York or Circus Circus, or on the death-defying X Scream atop the Stratosphere.

5. Hook up. Some Las Vegas nightclubs are bigger than entire towns in the Midwest.

6. Get wild. Check out the wildlife at Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay, the Secret Garden of Siegfried & Roy at Mirage, and the Flamingo Wildlife Habitat.

7. Be stunned. See magic man Lance Burton work miracles each night at the Monte Carlo.

8. Get retro. You can still play penny slots and $1 blackjack at Sahara.

9. Test yourself. Stand on a glass floor 55 floors above the Palms' driveway at ghostbar.

10. Get glassy-eyed. Take in the Dale Chihuly-designed glass flowers adorning the ceiling in the lobby of Bellagio.

11. Rub elbows. You never know which VIP you'll bump into in Las Vegas. But please, no autographs.

12. Get lit. Luxor's brilliant light can be seen for miles, a homing beacon for the city, one of the world's most popular travel destinations.

13. Be serenaded. Hear Celine, live, singing to you for 85 of her 90 minute show. Talk about getting your money's worth.

14. Swap spouses. Swap your husband or wife at the Green Door, a "social adult club." That's a swinger's club to the rest of us.

15. See bling. The Liberace Museum has a 50-pound rhinestone on display, and not to be outdone, the Golden Nugget sports a 61-pound chunk of solid gold.

16. Eat up. Tempt your taste buds at one of the city's renowned restaurants. Gamble a little, and you might even get your meal "comped."

17. Get smart. Learn the ropes, free. Take a gambling lesson at any major casino. Invest a few minutes of practice today, and make bank tonight.

18. Go topless. Show off some skin at Moorea Beach, Mandalay Bay's top-optional private beach.

19. Let go. Lose the tension with a friend or lover. Couples spa treatments are twice the fun.

20. Bet big. Revel in the action at any of the 10,428 monitors of continuous sports action in the city's sports books.

21. Say yes. More than 100,000 couples get married in Las Vegas each year. From elegant to cheesy, weddings in Las Vegas are always unforgettable. (And it's not a bad place to honeymoon, either.)

22. See skin. Ogle a bikini-clad blackjack dealer at the casinos in the Tuscany or Rio.

23. Live large. There's an IMAX theater at Luxor.

24. Pig out. Bellagio's buffet, reported to be the best in the world, serves just about anything you can imagine.

25. Get blue. After you enjoy Blue Man Group at Luxor, the performers mingle in the lobby, signing "autographs" and giving out kisses, slathering fans with their signature blue paint.

26. Feel awe. Travel back through time at the Grand Canyon. A million years in the making, this breathtaking wonder is just an hour away from Las Vegas by plane.

27. Play wet. Tropicana and Hard Rock have swim-up blackjack tables in their pools.

28. Find illumination. Visit the spot where neon signs go to die at the Neon Museum in downtown Las Vegas.

29. Chill out. At Red Square, at Mandalay Bay, the bar is made of ice to keep the staggering 170 varieties of vodka chilled to the perfect temperature.

30. Indulge fantasies. See Zumanity, Cirque du Soleil's newest at New York-New York.

31. Go clubbing. Las Vegas has dozens of award-winning golf courses.

32. Get around. See France (at Paris Las Vegas), Egypt (at Luxor), and Italy (at Venetian), all in one day. Or even in one hour!

33. Get wet. You can swim year-round in Las Vegas. In fact, Skin at the Palms stays open all night when weather permits.

34. Get friendly. Have a woman who's WAY out of your league treat you like her boyfriend at one of the city's strip clubs.

35. Cool off. After a hot night out, hit the ice. The Santa Fe Station Hotel has an indoor skating rink.

36. Dress up. You'll have some sexy competition at the city's Pimp 'N' Ho Ball, stirring up controversy each year for Halloween.

37. Beam up. They're not drunk, they're just speaking Klingon. Set your phaser to "fun" at the Hilton's Star Trek: The Experience.

38. Get rejuvenated. In Las Vegas, Botox injections are available to walk-ins at the city's world-class spas.

39. Shop non-stop. The real jackpot in Las Vegas is finding a one-of-a-kind bauble at a big-name store you never expected to find in Las Vegas.

40. Play outside. Snow ski at Mt. Charleston in the morning and water ski at Lake Mead in the afternoon. Both are just an hour away from the Las Vegas Strip.

41. Find freedom. What other travel destination can brag that it has casinos with day care?

42. Go hog-wild. Grab yourself some hearty grub, and a generous slice of Americana, at the world-famous Harley-Davidson Cafe.

43. Get free. Free shows abound in Las Vegas. See sexy, dancing pirates at TI, the fountains at Bellagio, and a brilliant light show at Fremont Street Experience.

44. Kick back. Rooms in Las Vegas are big and plentiful. MGM Grand has 5,034 rooms, in fact, making it the largest hotel in the world.

45. Stay afloat. Take a romantic gondola ride through an indoor canal system at Venetian while being serenaded by your very own gondolier.

46. Party hard. There are suites in the Palms that come equipped with stripper poles.

47. Sleep deeply. Las Vegas has more shows with hypnotists than just about anywhere else. Ever.

48. Just glide. Ride in style on the city's latest technological innovation, the Las Vegas Monorail.

49. Get medieval. Forget your manners and eat with your hands as you watch grown men trying to kill each other with sharp objects at Excalibur's Tournament of Kings.

50. Win big. Forget your state's lottery. With one pull of a Megabucks slot machine, you could be set for life.

Casino of Month
THE VENETIAN
We recently stayed at The Venetian, our first time at this luxury strip property. The rooms are large (the promote themselves as "redefining luxury with more than 4,000 of the world’s largest standard suites – nearly double the size of the average Strip hotel room.")
As for the actual casino floor, it was first class. We have stayed at several of the strip properties, as well as at a few of the downtown properties and The Venetian ranks as one of our Top 3 hotel/casino experiences.
It can be a little pricey, but if you are looking for a more upscale Vegas getaway, this place should be on your short-list.
You can visit The Venetian website here.
